Yahya Alshamy

Yahya Alshamy is a first year PhD student in the Department of Economics, Graduate Fellow in the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and a PhD Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. He earned his BS degree in Economics from George Mason University. Yahya has previously worked as a research fellow for the Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies. His research interests include economic development, institutional economics, and defense, peace, & war economics.
