Kat Murti

Kat Murti is co-​founder and executive director of Feminists for Liberty. She is also associate director of audience acquisition & engagement for the Cato Institute. Murti is the co-​leader of the D.C. chapter of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance (LOLA) and is a communications consultant for the international organization. She also serves on the board of Students for Sensible Drug Policy. Murti previously worked at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. She grew up between North Texas and South India, earned a political science degree at the University of California at Berkeley, and now lives and works in Washington, D.C.
