Robert LeFevre on Manners and Morality
Robert LeFevre was an American businessman, radio personality, and libertarian theorist. LeFevre was also the founder of the Freedom School, an institution designed to educate people about libertarian philosophy and free market economics.
In this video, LeFevre speaks at a dinner in Los Angeles in 1984. He talks about morality and theorizes about where it comes from and the extent to which it dictates our interactions with other people. LeFevre also talks about what he calls “manners,” which he defines separately from natural-law derived morality as a general consideration for the concerns of others.
