Rothbard talks about the value of government inaction to economic recovery.

A prolific author and Austrian economist, Murray Rothbard promoted a form of free market anarchism he called “anarcho-capitalism.”

In this clip from a longer talk titled “Mises, Keynes, Friedman, Laffer: The Austrian Perspective,” Murray Rothbard compares the last recession before the New Deal with those occurring later. He argues that the government’s inaction during pre-New Deal recessions hastened their recovery. Rothbard spoke at the 1983 Libertarian Party Presidential Nominating Convention.
